About Us
Chartered in 1977, the Tri-State Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) includes Huntington, WV; northeast Kentucky; and southem Ohio. Our mission statement is: "To offer information on the latest developments in human resource management and provide opportunities for conferences, cooperative research and the exchange of information among members. To support standards of quality and excellence in human resource management."
Meetings and Services
The Tri-State SHRM usually meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month. We vary the times and location of our meetings in order to include as many members as possible. Our programs topics focus on the latest trends and practices in the Human Resource Management profession. We also offer round table discussion groups periodically with experienced Human Resource professionals as facilitators.

Membership
Members of the Tri-State SHRM are individuals who, by reason of their occupation, are directly involved in the management, administration, development or study of human resources. In addition, many of our members are managers and business owners who wish to keep abreast of the latest developments in both the legal arena and practice of human resource management.
