Award of Excellence
The Tri-State SHRM Chapter #420 honors one local Human Resource professional with an honored Human Resource Chapter Excellence Award annually at its November / December Holiday Meeting.
The honoree is a Human Resources professional that has made a difference in the chapter or community. We want to publicly recognized outstanding individuals for their demonstrated excellence to the profession.
The honoree receives a one-year paid membership to the National Society for Human Resource Management and a plaque.

Congratulations go to Sheri Taylor!!!
At the December Holiday Gala, Tri-State SHRM was pleased to announce Sheri Taylor, SPHR as the recipient of the 2005 Award of Excellence for her continued contribution to the field of Human Resources. Sheri served at 2005 Chair for the West Virginia State SHRM Council, and under her direction the Council organized the highly successfully 2005 HR Conference. Her leadership has taken the State Council to a new level. Employed as Labor Relations Specialist at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY, Sheri is an important member of the Tri-State HR community, always willing to share her knowledge with newly appointed HR professionals and the community at large. She is a graduate of the Marshall Executive MBA program and is a Senior Professional in Human Resources, which, along with her experience, makes her one of the most qualified HR Professionals in the Tri-State community.
