Amazon.com is seeking a talented Recruiter with a passion for candidate generation to support its Customer Service team. The CS Recruiter is responsible for supporting all exempt recruiting functions throughout the US network. The CS Recruiter is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression of Amazon.com. The ideal person will demonstrate exceptional planning and project management skill with the ability to shift gears at a moments notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals. Primary responsibilities will be to generate candidates for these critical and highly visible Customer Service roles. Responsibilities include: Partnering with CS field client groups and Senior Leadership to determine and anticipate CS staffing needs and develop compelling CS job postings Implement and enforce consistency with recruiting policies procedures Develop sourcing strategies, plans and pipelines Review and screen all resumes and applications Manage and track all internal postings for exempt CS opportunities Updating candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems Scheduling interviews and phone screens working directly with candidates and hiring managers, in some cases arranging travel for visiting candidates Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email Track recruiting activities and providing candidate status in a weekly report Coordinate scheduling of post-interview debrief meetings and provide debrief materials Develop internal CS managers interview skills by conducting interview training Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency Track metrics for all recruiting activities Job Qualifications: Flexibility and creativity in recruiting efforts Ability to interface with all levels of the organization and with external candidates Excellent candidate assessment skills. Solid sense of accountability and acute personal judgment Team player, solid work ethic, willing to pitch in where needed Excellent written and verbal communications skills Problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently and drive them to closure with minimal supervision Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate Required Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. degree is required (HR or related field preferred) Ability to travel extensively (30-40%) 3+ years of recruiting experience, specifically within sourcing candidates. Strong business acumen and good understanding of customer service. Strong organization skills to track and measure activity. Proficiency with MS Office or equivalent. Some flexibility on location: This position could be based in Kennewick, WA, Grand Forks, ND, or Huntington, WV but would support the CS network
