Chartered in 1977, the Tri-State Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) includes Huntington, WV; northeast Kentucky; and southern Ohio.

Our mission statement is: "To offer information on the latest developments in human resource management and provide opportunities for conferences, cooperative research and the exchange of information among members. To support standards of quality and excellence in human resource management."

Members of the Tri-State SHRM are individuals who, by reason of their occupation, are directly involved in the management, administration, development or study of human resources. In addition, many of our members are managers and business owners who wish to keep abreast of the latest developments in both the legal arena and practice of human resource management.

Tri-State SHRM was awarded the SHRM Merit Award in 1999 and the Superior Merit Award for 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2005. We have exciting things happening with our local chapter and we want you to be a part of it.
